“Dream Girl” achieved a “hit” tag within 3 days of the release. Now, this is called hype. The budget was 35 crores, and the movie already earned 40-45 crores, which is absolutely amazing. However, “Dream Girl 1” was far better than the sequel; it is totally a waste of the talented cast.

Spoilers ahead: There is an unnecessary LGBTQ angle in “Dream Girl 2.”

The cast includes talented actors like Paresh Rawal, Manoj Sharma, Asraniji, Rajpal Yadav, and many more, but all are totally wasted. Some moments are very cringe in “Dream Girl 2.”

Here is the day-wise box office collection report:

Day 1 – 10 Crores
Day 2 – 14 Crores
Day 3 – 16 Crores
Day 4 – 4.50 Crores
Day 5 – 3 Crores

Total worldwide collection – 48 Crores

Total Indian net collection – 48 Crores

“Dream Girl 2” had an overall 27% Hindi occupancy on its 5th day, which is really good compared to weekdays. “Dream Girl 2” is already gaining appreciation, but in our view, the sequel wasn’t necessary.
