Coolie No. 1 Review: Another Pandemic in 2020

Coolie No. 1 Review

Coolie No. 1 Review: Varun Dhawan much-awaited 2020 Coolie No. 1 movie is now released on Prime Video and here in the post we are going to review the movie, we would talk about the performances, plot, and a few more details about the movie.

The movie stars some great actors from the town, the movie stars Varun Dhawan, Sara Ali Khan, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, and Chaukey Pandey in lead roles, the movie is created by David Dhawan and now released on Prime Video.

Plot

The plot of the movie was very much clear from the trailer itself, the movie is about a Coolie who falls for a very Rich Girl and he decided to marry her, now he pretends to be a Rich NRI, he manages to convince her but one day his real identity comes in front of everyone, what happens after that, to know that you have to watch the whole movie.

Performances

For me it is the worst ever performance of Varun Dhawan, Paresh Rawal, Chauky Pandey, and Rajpal Yadav, Varun Dhawan is so irritating in the movie and the same is with Rajpal Yadav, the dialogues of Paresh Rawan are Brizzaire and they don’t make you laugh at all, Rajpal Yadav is at his lowest, this is his first movie which disappointed me and all credit goes to the dull script.

Sara Ali Khan is normal and she is better than everyone if we compare the actings of the actor from this movie, the female characters are far better than the male character.

Some movies are bad, some are worst and some are unbearable, Coolie No. 1 doesn’t fall in any of this category, it is Humshakal of 2020, the comedy is irritating, the acting is at its low and the dialogues are just dumb. The Only good thing about the movie is its music and there is nothing else to watch in the movie.

Screenplay & Other

The screenplay sucks and you would get to know each and every twist of the movie from the beginning itself, there is no suspense or thrill at all, the locations are good and the songs are amazing and these two are the only good thing about the whole movie, the editing of the movie is very poor, there are too many scenes and dialogues which were not needed at all, the climax is very much predictable and it spoils all the thrill and suspense.

Some Legendary Scenes From The Movie:-p

There is a dialogue in the film where Varu Says ‘Mujhe Sara (name of Sara Ali Khan in the movie) Saari (whole) Chahiye ‘ and after listening to that I was like ‘ Mujhe Ye Movie Aadhi Bhi Nahi Chahiye’, the movie is at the lowest level and it is a waste of Money, Talents and time.

There is another scene in the movie where Varun Dhawan Hides just behind Paresh Rawal and he doesn’t see him, I was like C**** SamjhaHai Kya?

Overall

We are going with 1 star for the movie, just don’t waste your time on it, there is nothing new in the movie, and there is nothing to watch but if you still want to watch the movie, you can have a look at the movie on Amazon Prime Video, the movie is approx 1 hour long and is available in Hindi audio with English subtitles.
