Chhalaang Movie Budget (Chalang Chhanlang): Rajkummar Rao’s upcoming film Chhalaang is being directed by Hansal Mehta. It is bankrolled by various celebrities like Ajay Devgn, Luv Ranjan, Bhushan Kumar, and Ankur Garg. The movie was announced last year and the release date was set around 31st January 2020.
But due to some delay in production, the movie was postponed to 13th March 2020. But again the movie faced postponement as it was shifted for 12th June 2020. Due to shut theatres after the precautionary measures for Coronavirus, the movie wasn’t able to release and since all the other ones were releasing on some of the other OTT platforms, Chhalaang was supposed to follow the same route.
But it seems as of now that the makers are waiting for the movie to have a theatrical release as no official confirmation regarding the release date for the movie has been made by them.
The movie is supposed to be based in the towns of Uttar Pradesh. The genre of the film has been kept social comedy with some dark humor. Judging by the posters, the movie will be based on the school children and their PT teacher who wants them to win a sports competition. The movie is a hilarious tale of a PT teacher who works at a semi funded government school and takes his job lightly.
But due to a critical situation that arrives in his family and puts everything he cares for at stake he must stand up, The movie stars Rajkummar Rao, Nushrat Bharucha, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, Saurabh Shukla, and others.

Budget
The movie by the looks of it is a low budget film and thus it is around 20 crores. The Final landing cost of the movie would be around 22 crores if it releases in the cinema, but if it goes for OTT release, it would cost approx 20 Crores For makers.
Direct Digital Release?
No official announcement for the digital rights by any platform is out as of yet. Reports regarding the tussle between Netflix and Amazon Prime Video for the digital rights are being gone on for a while and we might see an official announcement by any one of these platforms soon enough.
Release date
There have been talks about the movie might release in theatres, while there is no news as of now for the reopening of theatres one might only guess when the movie will be out.
