Burning Body Review | El Cuerpo En llamas | Netflix

Burning Body Review: Netflix presents an eight-episode Spanish crime thriller series, “Burning Body,” currently streaming on Netflix with Hindi and English audio, along with subtitles.

This series is based on real-life events, revolving around crimes involving the Guàrdia Urbana, the police force of Barcelona.

The series follows a lady cop named Rosa Peral and her love triangle. However, things take a darker turn when the police discover a burned car with the charred remains of a cop named Pedro Rodriguez, who happens to be Rosa’s husband. The entire series delves into Rosa’s life, filled with affairs, scandals, and cheating. Simultaneously, we witness the investigation into Pedro’s death. To find out who killed Pedro and how, we must watch the series.

The star cast includes Úrsula Corberó, who shines throughout the series. Watching her after “Money Heist” is quite interesting, and she steals the show once again. Quim Gutiérrez and José Manuel Poga also deliver excellent performances in their respective roles. Child actor Guiomar Caiado has done a great job.

The cinematography of this series is a strong point, and the music adds to its intrigue. It showcases beautiful locations in Barcelona, which are a pleasure to see.

Overall, it’s a decent series. The story is somewhat predictable, offering nothing particularly new, but the cast, cinematography, and screenplay keep us engaged until the end. I would rate it 2.5 out of 5.

This is a decent thriller mystery drama available on Netflix with Hindi and English audio, along with subtitles. It’s worth a one-time watch.
