Blurr Review (Blur Movie): Zee5 original Film Blurr was released a few hours ago on Zee5, The film is a direct OTT release and is now available on Zee5 in Hindi audio along with the subtitles, The film is around 2 Hours long and it stars Taapsee Pannu, Gulshan Devaiah and Abhilash Thapiyal in the main lead roles, The film has been directed by Ajay Bahl and jointly produced by Zee Studios.
The film is suitable to watch with Family as there is No nud**ty or any Skin show in the film, but there are some shocking sequences and thus the film is not suitable to watch with Kids. Let’s Jump to the review of the film.
The Plot of the film revolves around Gayatri whose twin sister Gautmi died by Suicide, Gayatri believes that its a Murder and her sister can’t commit suicide, While Police and her Husband reject the Murder theory, Gayatri starts an investigation into her own and get to some shocking truths, how these truths were going to affect the life of Gayatri? to know this You need to watch the full movie on Zee5.
Taapsee Pannu was Good as always but it looks like she is being repetitive, Doobaara was a similar film and the expressions were almost the same in this film too, She was too good in the climax, but in the rest of the film, she almost looks the same like her previous films, There was no effort, no freshness, nothing. Gulshan Devaiah looks great and he was completely into the character, He looks confident and Mysterious at the same time, and that further adds the dark theme to the film.
Abhilash Thapiyal was a stunner and he is the best in the film, His transformation was just shocking as well as unbelievable, He was so good in his role and the way he speaks and portrays him was just amazing, Rest other actors were decent enough to watch.
The story of the film was very much predictable and you are going to smell something fishy even before the interval of the film, The film is slow, dull and repetitive in the middle and that makes the film long, The last 20 minutes were thrilling but again the climax sequence was pretty predictable and looks old.
The music of the film was decent and the locations were Good, that Dark theme helps a lot in making the film thrilling but the writing and the old-themed story failed the film.
I am going with 2.5 Out of 5 stars for the film, In the last few years, Bollywood and South Indian Films have Produced some great thrillers and this film fits Nowhere into them, If you are new to thriller films, You may watch the film streaming on Zee5 in the Hindi audio.
