World’s Best (2023) Movie Review: Disney+ is known for giving such types of family films that both parents and children can enjoy together, and their latest movie, “World’s Best,” is one of them. Directed by Roshan Sethi, the movie stars Manny Magnus, Punam Patel, and Utkarsh Ambudkar in the lead roles. The movie is 1 hour and 40 minutes long and is rated PG. Here, we are going to review the movie and give it a rating.
The movie revolves around Prem, who lives with his mother, Priya, and is a very intelligent boy in school. He is also a genius in Math. But when he comes to know about his late father, Suresh, who was a famous rap star, he gets distracted from his studies and decides to follow his father’s passion and become a successful rap artist. However, his mother wants him to only focus on his studies. Will he be able to follow his father’s legacy or not? The movie follows this story.
The movie is a good family entertainer, and every kid will enjoy it. The chemistry between Prem and Suresh feels real and fresh, and you will start feeling like they are a real father and son. This is the backbone of the movie. The music of the film is also good, and the beats and lyrics will stay in your mind.
The ending is also satisfying, and after watching the movie for a few minutes, you will feel an emotional attachment to the characters. Some parts of the movie can also bring tears to your eyes. Talking about the performances by the other cast members, the supporting cast has also done a great job with their characters. Priya, in the role of a widowed mother who wants to see her child succeed, fits perfectly in the role.
Overall, the movie is a great one-time watch for parents as well as children. Indian-origin actors are really dominating Hollywood, and you can see that in this movie. It’s a perfect watch with a great plot, good screenplay, great tracks, and killer dance moves.
