THOR: Love & Thunder is going beautifully in terms of the revenue its pulling but not doing that well in terms of the fans because of the expectations not being met. Thor: LOVE & Thunder has garnered more than $400M.

But it is being considered average by the fans and not that great when it comes to its predecessor i.e., Ragnarok. Despite it having that same old Taika Waititi charm, the film does average. The film has a couple of Post-Credit scenes which introduce a major character from Greek Mythology into the THOR Universe but the one that has fans confused a bit is that Jane Foster reaches Valhalla after dying. Why? Because she is human, after all, and that is something for God.

What is Valhalla?

Valhalla is like heaven for Vikings. Since Vikings were mostly looting and battling other countries for food and money, it’s believed in Viking lore that all Vikings that die in battle go to Valhalla so when a Viking fights, he fights with his all and with a wish that he would goto Valhalla.

Why Did Jane go to Valhalla?

We know that all Vikings got Valhalla after dying and Jane Foster when died, was Thor and also the wielder of Mjolnir which made her a Viking, more than a human. She was part of the Viking lore in that time when she fought Gorr with Mjolnir so when she died, she died in the battlefield in Thor’s arms and that made her worthy of Valhalla and she was welcomed by Heimdall and thanked for saving his son.

"I'm just a humble cinephile with a knack for stringing words together. My reviews may not be as fancy as "The Grand Budapest Hotel" but they'll give you a good idea of whether a movie is worth the ticket price. I may not be a "Casablanca" of criticism, but I'll always give you my honest opinion. So join me on this journey of cinematic discovery, it's sure to be "One for the Ages."

  1. but she wasn’t worthy of valhalla, she didn’t die with a weapon in hand, and it wasn’t on the battlefield, but in eternity….
