What If Season 2 Episode 5: What If…? is an animated action-adventure sci-fi superhero anthology drama series and is created by A.C. Bradley and is now streaming on Disney+ Hotstar and is based on the Marvel Comics series.
The show follows the story about different timelines in the multiverse in the Marvel superhero series where we see what happens if the story takes place in differently in different timelines.
In this article, I am going to recap episode 5 of season 2 of this show which is written by Bryan Andrews and directed by A. C. Bradley, where I will cover all the details and what happened in episode 5 of this show in detail.

Episode 5 of season 2 of What If, titled, “What If… Captain Carter Fought the Hydra Stomper?”, where we see that Hydra Stomper who is the winter solider and is answerable for some of the most destructive panic attacks in the past and we see that Bucky Barnes, who has aged and is putting his life on the line to save Steve from a Widow-piloted shield jet.
Later, we see that Peggy strikes Steve’s release where Natasha takes them to a Scottish isle for trials where the suit is the only item keeping Steve alive we see that he was somehow killed on an assignment in Argentina while we see that he and Prime Bucky were enduring out Hydra bases.
After that, we see that Steve’s brainwashing is the duty of the Red Room, where Peggy wants to reason out a course of motion and after being un-brainwashed Steve wakes up and volunteers to take them there where we find that the Red Room is a space in Sokovia which is located in KGB training camp.
The Scene shifts, to the camp where we find that a group of Widows along with Melina Vostokoff tell to everyone that Steve has been recreating double agent and attacking Agent Carter to check on her. Where we see that Peggy breaks his programming system and takes down the Red Room.
At the last of episode 5, we see that Natasha helps her rescue Milena from the Red Room by launching him into the air space and we see that Peggy saves Steve and finds his location and the episode ends.
