THOR LOVE AND THUNDER is only for completely tasteless and blended movie lovers, The movie gets wasted a lot just in comedy. It works in the first half but after a certain amount of time, it feels like wasted effort. The comedy feels too forced and it doesn’t work all the time.

The biggest turndown of this movie is the character Gorr The God Butcher played by Christian Bale. Heavily less runtime and no comic-book accurate look made this character one of the worst villains in the MCU, and I mean it. The backstory of Gorr is also completed within a blink of an eye. The Necrosword we saw was also extremely disappointing compared to the comic one. In short, they’ve ruined an amazing villain.

I mean if you have by chance read the comics of Gorr The God Butcher and even if you have just seen how he looks in the comic, you are going to hate this movie look of Gorr for sure. This clearly is less focused on the character and not the similarity issue with Voldemort. Both are COMPLETELY different.

The Music is good since it has to be. Natalie Portman is okay I’ll say since this is the first time we are seeing her as a Female version of Thor, the audience might need some time to adjust to her. She is really good when she is not Thor in this movie.

Chris Hemsworth has done a fantastic job but this time you are not gonna love his character as much as you did in Infinity War and Endgame. Taika Waititi has ruined this character’s emotional side on a big level which has impacted the character development of Thor. After losing his mother, father, love interest, brother, friends, home, and the Asgard, we expect this character to grow emotionally and personally; and this never happens.

The storyline needed to be pretty much serious and dedicated but Taika Waititi relied only on the comedy of this movie. For the first half, it will work but even in scary and serious situations, getting comedy is a big sign of bad writing.

Excluding the credits, the movie is barely one hour and forty-five minutes long which is another downfall of this movie. Chris Hemsworth confirmed having a 4-hour version of THOR: LOVE AND THUNDER but they trimmed down a holly molly 2 hours which is INSANE!

Overall, Thor: Love and Thunder have no Love nor any Thunders. This can be watched once for the visuals, our favorite characters on their journey.

  1. I haven’t watched Thor:Love and Thunder yet, but If you are a huge fan of superheroes like me and even if the movie has the worst reviews possible, I think it is worth watching at least for seeing how it all ends.

    • This is the same person speaking, you should really be quiet bro. I just checked the reviews, and it’s rated 3.7/5.0. So ya know… Hey, everyone who reads this article should just ignore it. Kudos, man.

Sahi kaha bhai. Gorr ka poora character bigaad diya aur Thor ko joker jaisa bana diya. Maza nahi aaya is wali me. Ragnarok achhi thi isse zyada

    • She means, “Right said brother. Spoiled Gorr’s entire character and made Thor look like the Joker. Didn’t enjoy this valley. Ragnarok was better than this.” (Searched it on translator.)

  3. True! True! True! I’ve read comics and this movie is nothing compared to those. As we already know Taika Waititi didn’t have time to build a proper script for this movie. He was focusing on Star Wars projects and this is why he just made whatever he could within a given deadline. A mess. Even if we see the film without any expectations, it still disappoints. I’m glad you mentioned the issues while a lot of die hard fans are just tagging this movie as a masterpiece lmao.
