The Boy, The Mole, The Fox, And The Horse Review: Life can be pretty difficult to make sense of and the hurdles we face can sometimes make everything seem too blurry confusing you to an extent you do not think you can come back from. Life is full of labyrinths and mountains that one needs to cross onto the next labyrinth and another mountain and it keeps going on.

Things can get depressing sometimes as it is human nature to strive for something better and failure causes a temporary or in worse cases a permanent halt.

These feelings can house themselves deep into our consciousness and make their presence known like an old joint pain that wouldn’t just go away. Stories help us, and the characters that resonate with us help us realize things that are often hard to get a hold of, normally and that makes the power of reading so illuminating that it can light the places where even light cannot reach.

AppleTV+ has brought one such book to life in the form of a short film based on the eponymous title “The Boy, The Mole, The Fox And The Horse”. It tells the story of a boy that gets lost in the wild and doesn’t remember where home is but only remembers what a home is and how it should be.

He is met by 3 protagonists namely, The Mole, The Fox, and The Horse which help him in getting to his home. Along the way, the 4 converse, play together, and learn some life lessons that will stay with them for life.

Ending Explained – Connection Between The Witcher Season 3 And Blood Origin?

With a runtime under just 35 minutes, the film managed to capture the human nature of trying and failing, the feelings of inferiority, and the sense of community, all intertwined in the form of hope and love. Some life lessons are better understood by stories and this one is just tremendously rich in that sense.

Final Verdict: 4.8/5

“The Boy, The Mole, The Fox, And The Horse is extremely rich in content with some mesmerizing animation. Released especially during the year’s end it does fill you with hope for the next year which is yet to come with new challenges.”

"I'm just a humble cinephile with a knack for stringing words together. My reviews may not be as fancy as "The Grand Budapest Hotel" but they'll give you a good idea of whether a movie is worth the ticket price. I may not be a "Casablanca" of criticism, but I'll always give you my honest opinion. So join me on this journey of cinematic discovery, it's sure to be "One for the Ages."
