Story
From the trailer itself, the movie looks a romantic drama, but there is something more in the story than the romantic saga, the story revolves around the Sujhatha a mute girl played by (Aditi Rao Haydari) and her love interest, Sujatha loves her neighbor Sufi (Played by Dev Menon) but she got married to an NRI Rajeev played by (Jayasurya), who lives in Dubai, she goes to Dubai with her husband, everything was going good in the musical romantic drama, Sujhata thought she had moved on from her previous love until one day, Sujatha got a call and everything changes after that.
Rajeev decides to bring her back to the village and from there story turns something more from a romantic drama, with a great and shocking twist at the end, what was the call about?, who called Sujatha, What happens after that? to know the full story you have to watch the 2 hours long movie streaming on Prime Video.
Performances
OH MY God, Aditi Rao Hydari, You beauty, she is just at her best, without even a single dialogue, she steals the show, Jayasurya as her Husband Rajeev has also done up to the mark performances, other actors like Siddiqui as Malilikarjunan, Manikandan as Kumaran and Dev Menon as Sufi brilliant, Aditi Rao Haydari won the show with her mindblowing expression and body language, she just coveys everything, without saying the single world, the whole movie is just for her, a masterclass acting, that I never expected.
Screenplay & Editing
Well, there is something missing here, the story starts well but goes very slow in the middle, in the middle of the movie, the movie seems little normal and just another love story, editing needs some serious work in the middle, you just can’t stretch the movie, the movie can be made little shorter, Climax is just awesome and it is worth waiting, the movie picks up the Pace in last 30-35 minutes and keeps you connected till the end.
Overall
I personally liked the movie, except the middle half, you would love it too, the movie is different from other love stories and it is very exciting in the end, Music of the movie is the best part, you are going to listen to some of the greatest musical movies of Malayalam cinema, we are going with 3.5 out of 5 for the movie, You can watch this movie on Amazon Prime Video.
