Stranger Things Season 4 Vol 2 Ending Explained: We waited and we got what we were expecting. Yes, Stranger Things Season 4 Part 2 is out now with two final episodes with total runtime of more than 4 hours! There’s a lot to talk and here we are going to talk about a lot of spoilers so watch out, now the best thing about this season was it’s sometimes. oh my god, I loved the runtime.
So episode 8 continues from episode 7, we finally got to see kissings between Hopper and Joyce after they finally confess their love and that was definitely extremely satisfying and then we see they are trying to get out of the Russian prison so that they can join the kids’ team in the USA. but After getting out of prison, they realized that “wow that’s not what we have to do” right? because they can’t reach the USA in the required time.
Now in Russia Hopper Joyce and Murray find out that Russians are experimenting with the Demogorgon which was quite expected since Russians are always been in the movies and shows but in the reality, I don’t think there are that bad.
After they go back to the prison, they see that the atmosphere was pretty empty and pretty dark since there are a lot of dead Russian bodies. They assume that they were killed by demogorgons and yes they end up fighting demogorgons. In the end, they kill all the demo governance by burning them alive and they all do that they’re gonna make it out of there right?
After getting saved Yuri comes back with his helicopter and they go back to the USA and the story comes back to Nevada. In Nevada, Eleven is now aware of the creation of Henry aka Vecna. she finally knows that she didn’t kill anyone except Henry. That we won’t even call it a death since he’s alive; I mean not in the same form but yes he is alive.
So Eleven decides to go back to Hawkins and help her friends and eventually army comes there. Dr. Brenner doesn’t want her to go and he wants her to train more and become capable of killing all the creatures but since Eleven wants to go, she resists and Dr. Banner locks her up.
The army captures Dr. Owens and everything starts falling apart then after being in a prison for a good amount of time, Dr. Brenner takes Eleven out of the prison to the landside on the bunker so that they can go out and save themselves from the army.
While trying this, Dr. Banner gets shot a few times by armymen from the helicopter and dies. Eleven decide somehow gets saved by his boyfriend Mike and his team using the pizza man and Eleven blows the helicopter and all the nearest area. in the final moments, Papa aka Dr. Brenner tries to apologize for all the things that he did to Eleven but she refuses to forgive him, and then, of course, he dies.
Now Mike, Will, Jonathan, and Argyle finally get to meet Eleven, and then they decide to go back to Hawkins so that they can help their friends somehow. It was pretty amazing to see that reaction of Argyle on 11 using her powers.
Now, at the final episode of Stranger Things season 4 part 2 and the name of this episode is piggyback. no that’s not the piggyback you are thinking.
In Stranger Things, piggybacking is going into someone’s mind and then fighting with someone else in that other person’s mind whos playing with the mind of the person you’re piggybacking. Now Mike and his team find a pizza store and then they convert a dough freezer into a saltwater tub so that Eleven can go into Max’s mind and fight with Vecna. That’s what piggybacking is.
We get to see a brother-to-brother moment with Will and Jonathan where Jonathan assures Wil that he’s gonna be with him no matter what and that’s what brothers are meant to be.
Max and Lucas are back again and max tries to put herself in danger so that the other team can have a chance to kill Vecna. she lives right now to kill her and that way other friends will get a chance to chop her head of Vecna but the plan somehow fails since Vecna was already aware of all the stuff these kids were doing.
Max tries to escape but she’s not able to and then Eleven comes there using piggybacking to save max. we get to see a lot of fights between Eleven and Vecna after some conversation. Steve, Nancy and Robin & Dustin, and Eddie are captured by Vecna in the Upside Down in different places.
While buying everyone some time, Eddie sacrifices himself finally acting like a hero while fighting alone with all the demon bats. Dustin and Eddie both share an emotional friendship moment before Eddie finally says goodbye.
Vecna uses Max as his fourth and final sacrifice to take over the real world from Upside Down. As soon as Vecna breaks limbs of Max and crushes her eye, Eleven succeeds in using her peak power to override Vecna and she captures Vecna after a lot of struggle. As soon as Venca is in Eleven’s control, Nancy, Robin, and our beloved Steve burn the body of Vecna in the Creel House, thus Vecna/Henry ends up being extremely injured. Eleven uses her powers in the Upside Down to vanish him off.
Max is almost dead but Eleven uses her powers to at least make her breathe again. After everything ends, we can see that the gate is now OPEN in Hawkins. Vecna is successful in the end to open the gates of The Upside Down. A heavy disaster occurs and many people die in the process of the gate opening.
In the end, we see a two-day time jump where Mike and the team come back to Hawkins and see a lot of people leaving the town once and for all. Lots of destruction has taken place and there’s a help shelter in the Hawkins Public School for the people.
Max is in Coma while almost all members survive somehow. Dr. Brenner, Eddie died this season and Max is still in the question. When Eleven tries to communicate with her using her mind, she can’t find Max’s soul at all. This makes a lot of questions regarding the fate of this character.
The Show ends with Will confirming Vecna is injured but alive. The season ends with the whole city turning into the Upside Down and the whole team coming together for an endgame.
