They are coming with a movie this time and it is called Serious Men. Yes, you’ve guessed it right, it is officially adapted from the novel of the same name by Manu Joseph.
The movie stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui which is probably the second-best combination with Netflix after Radhika Apte. The movie is helmed by Sudhir Mishra. Nawaz has been good for Netflix every time he has collaborated with the streaming giant. Be it Sacred Games or the recently released Raat Akeli Hai. The makers are really happy to cast him as the lead and in the role of Ayyan Mani. Plot
The movie focuses on Ayyan Mani a lower-middle-class Dalit man who is living and surviving on the harsh Mumbai. He has always been talked down because of his caste which has always been there for his underachievements in his life. But he gets a shot at changing his life due to his son who is a genius. While Mani tries to cope up with the fame but will he be able to live with it?
