This show follows the story of Lisa, a young woman who died under a train a year ago. Her spirit remains unseen until Edward, a troubled man, joins her in the purgatorial afterlife. When her parents and boyfriend visit her, Lisa follows them out of the station and roams the wider world.

After that we see that Matt recounts an encounter with an ex-colleague, unintentionally triggering Lisa’s insecurities. Despite Matt’s reassurances, a sense of unease settles over their relationship, revealing unresolved issues. Lisa’s friend, Izzy, introduces a rumor about Matt’s behavior, amplifying the strain between them. Matt asserts his innocence, emphasizing trust as a central thread in their unraveling story.
Later we find that Matt, burdened by the emotional weight of his role in the emergency department, faces the relentless pressure of long working hours and the toll it takes on his well-being. Simultaneously, Lisa shares her struggles as an educator, shedding light on the pressures of standardized testing and the constant demand for accountability in the education system.

At the last of this episode, we see Matt and Lisa in heavy silence, the weight of unspoken words hanging in the air, and the path forward uncertain. The once-solid foundation of their relationship now appears shaky, and the path forward is uncertain.
The narrative leaves the audience in anticipation, questioning whether Matt and Lisa can navigate the intricate dance between their personal and professional lives to salvage what remains of their connection.
