Netflix recently released an American adult action comedy-drama series that follows the story of a group of elite forces who try to save Las Vegas, which we see in this show, which was created by Jon Hurwitz, Hayden Schlossberg, and Josh Heald.
In this article, I am going to give a recap of episode 2 of this show, which is titled “Born in the U.S.S.R.” I will show all the details in this article, whereas you can check out the episode 1 recap, which is already available.
Episode 2 of this series started six months earlier at Cannon Air Force Base in New Mexico. The team is briefed on their mission to find and neutralize a portable nuclear device on US soil. Agent Ava Winters leads the team forward, but they are all fighting and bickering onboard the helicopter. They take Hagerty inside, while Ava makes a bad first impression by falling over in front of the Colonel.
Ava decides to speak to Lana, the woman tied to Koslov’s bedroom, whom she believes knows more than she’s letting on. She also speaks to Chen, another person they’ve arrested, and they begin talking. McKnight, who is impressed by America, antagonizes Ava, revealing how awful the US is. Ava plays a recording she secretly made with Koslov for Chen, berates him for his job, and points out that they need to find Koslov’s courier.

Chen opens up and points out that they need to find Koslov’s courier, who knows where he is but needs full immunity in writing from the Secretary of State. As Ava works feigning the letter, the others learn that Hagerty is out in a coma for 9–12 hours unless they can get meth to wake him up. However, McKnight decides to let loose on Koslov, smacking him around and almost jeopardizing the mission.
After that, we see that Koslov mentions that Ivan’s white-suited goon, Chen, has slipped through their fingers. Koslov kills Chen and decrypts his phone, leaving Lerner as the only one who can decrypt it. As she is drunk and spilling information about the nuke, she is taken to a strip club to keep her busy.
The team decides to take the vulture over to Big Willys, where Ava urinates into a can during a joke about her needing to pee. Hagerty falls over the edge, and McKnight jumps down to hold him.
Trunks save them both, but urine goes everywhere. When the vulture touches down, everyone heads inside the club, except for Paul and Lana, who are along for the ride. Hagerty is brought in and dumped at the exact table with the drugged drink Sharonda left. They manage to get him some meth to revive him.
Ava finds Sharonda and holds her up at gunpoint before hitting the killing blow on Lerner. Sharonda almost hits the trigger on her sniper, but Paul blows the truck sky-high before it’s too late. Unfortunately, drugs kick in, and he begins hallucinating.
At last of this episode , we see that Llerner decrypts the phone and learns that their target is Vladislav Litvin, Ivan’s courier. If they follow him, they should find the bomb. They know the Americans are honing in on them, but Litvin is confident that they will proceed with their plan as normal.
