Naruto: Rock Lee and his Ninja Pals

Naruto: Rock Lee and His Ninja Pals: Netflix is bringing an old anime from 2012-13 which is called Rock Lee and His Ninja Pals. The show is a spin-off of the hit anime Naruto Shippuden. Although the show is not related to the actual anime, it focuses on the events from the perspective of Rock Lee. The voice cast though has been retained from the original anime.

The anime focuses on the daily life routine of the training ninjas with Rock Lee being the main character of the show. We see that he can utilize taijutsu, but has no skill in ninjutsu or genjutsu these being the various types of training and specialization in the training. Each episode takes a comedic turn with some funny situations and tasks. Rock Lee with his friends tries to overcome these situations.


The animated series stars Yoichi Masukawa and Yukari Tamura in lead roles, the series also stars Koichi Tochika, Junko Takeuchi, Chie Nakamura, Masako Katsuki and others. The more about the cast is yet to be revealed.


Although no official trailer has been released by Netflix, there are some trailers available on YouTube. If You haven’t seen them, have a look at it, a full official trailer would be released by the Netflix super soon.

Release Date

The show will start to stream from 24th July 2020. The show might be available in English dub also and will also have the luxury of English subtitles, there is no official confirmation about the Hindi dubbed version of the series.

Season 2

The season 2 of the animated series is going to release on Netflix in 2021, the official date is yet to be revealed by the Netflix, we would update the post once we found any pieces of information.
