Mission Raniganj Review: If you want to see how one bad film at the box office can ruin other great films in the lineup on the box office, then you need to see the filmography of Akshay Kumar in the last few years. Films like Laxmii, Cuttputli, Bell Bottom, and Prithviraj have badly impacted the box-office potential of Akshay Kumar. Another big reason is the frequency of Akshay Kumar’s films, which is killing the buzz for upcoming films.

The same happened with the brilliantly made film ‘Mission Raniganj.’ The film was released at the box office today, and there is almost zero buzz about the film. The film is struggling to earn even 7-8 Crores on Day 1. I just finished watching the film, and here is a detailed review of it.

The story of the film revolves around a coal mine in a place called ‘Raniganj.’ The mine collapsed due to excessive digging, and more than 65 workers were trapped inside the mine. Jaswant Singh Gill was assigned as the rescue officer, and he started the operation to save the trapped miners. Will he be able to get everyone to safety again? To find out, you need to watch the full film on the big screens.

The screenplay of the film is fast-paced and will keep you hooked. The emotional depth of the film is also commendable, and the film concludes well. There are some issues with the VFX, and the overdramatic antagonist, D Sen, played by Dibyendu Bhattacharya, makes the film slightly dull and affects the overall runtime too. The film’s locations look authentic, and the mining sequences are amazing. However, the water and flood sequences were slightly weak in terms of VFX. The background music during the rescue sounds decent, but it could be slightly better.

Akshay Kumar shines as Jaswant Singh Gill, and he nails his character. This is one of those roles that will be remembered for a long time. I don’t know how this film will perform at the box office, but it will certainly be remembered for a long time. Dibyendu Bhattacharya looks good as the antagonist ‘Sen.’ Ravi Kishan was also good as Bhola, and he appears quite natural. Kumud Mishra and Pavan Malhotra have done a great job in the film, with Kumud once again managing to connect with the film very well. Parineeti Chopra has a short role in the film, but she has performed her part quite well.

I am giving the film 3 out of 5 stars. The film has its flaws in terms of VFX and music, but this Akshay Kumar film deserves much better treatment at the box office, and Akshay Kumar and the entire team of the film deserve applause.

The film stars Akshay Kumar, Parineeti Chopra, Kumud Mishra, Ravi Kishan, Pavan Malhotra, and others in the main lead roles. The film is suitable to watch with Family and Kids.

This concludes our review of ‘Mission Raniganj.’ Please go and watch the film in the cinema halls near you. What are your thoughts about the film? Please let us know in the comments.
