Sam Mendes is back again after his Oscar Winner 1917 with yet another film titled “Empire Of Light”. The trailer for the film has been released and it looks very appealing with an amazing cast from Toby Jones to Olivia Coleman and Colin Firth. The film’s trailer has released recently on YouTube.
The film tells a story about a romance that develops in a beautiful old cinema called “Empire” in the South Of England. It shows human connection and at the same time pays a tribute to the magic we call FILMS.
There’s a small anecdote given by Toby in the trailer as well that tells us how beautifully the film has been written. Films have a special place in humanity’s evolution and well-being and Sam Mendes understands that and has tried to incorporate it into his latest directorial venture.
The film is written and directed by Sam Mendes and is distributed by SearchLight Productions and is scheduled to premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival this September of 2022 and is scheduled for its theatrical release on December 9, 2022.
Sam Mendes has last directed the World War Epic Drama titled “1917” and won a lot of awards and it will be interesting to see what Sam Mendes has brought for us now.
