Live Telecast (Web Series) Review: I was so excited for the series to release on Hostar, as I am a fan of south film industries nowadays, they are coming with great content and i was hoping same with this series too, finally series is now released on Hostar app and here in the post I am going to review the series.

The web series stars Kajal Agarwal in the main lead role, the web series also stars Vaibhav Redy, Anaandhi, Daniel, Arunaachalam Subarmanum, Yogi Baabu, Premi Amareen, and more. The web series directed by Venkat Prabhu. Let’s Jump To The review.

Plot

The plot was pretty much clear from the trailer itself and all i was waiting to see something new, the series revolves around Jenny, (who is the director of a tv daily shop show) and her team, they make a horror show based on the real stories, after huge success, their TRP starts declining due to another show and then their show was called off. Jenny then decided to restart the show and to get more TRP they decided to go Live on TV and shoot a Live Horrorshow. Things went wrong when the Reel Characters comes to real life and they were facing the real ghost and he was haunting their team members, what happened next, to know this, You have to watch the full series on Hostar.

Performances

Disappointed, I was expecting so much from Kajal Agarwal, but she failed here, she is at her all-time low, I mean how can you act normal when you saw a guy flying?, i don’t know how Kajal manages to do that, the same issue is with the other characters if you are performing in horror genre show some fear, thrill..why there is a normal expression, there was not even a single scene where acting was out of the park, acting was decent at few places but it fails to make an impact at most of the places.

Analysis, Screenplay & Other

A few days ago I watched Lahore Confidential in the name of Thriller show and it was a joke in the name of a thriller and today I watched Live Telecast in the name of Horrorshow and it was Dead Show. I don’t know why makers put the tag of Horror for a comedy show, trust me I watched it all alone and there was not even a single scene that can thrill me. There is almost zero Horror, I was like “Choti Ganga Bol Ke Naale Mein Kuda Diya” .(Vijay Raaz Dailouge From Run Movie).

The editing and screenplay of the series are very silly, the first 3 episodes are just dull and most of the viewers would stop watching the series after these episodes. The locations are decent and Music is the only positive point of the series.

Overall

I am going with 1.5 stars for the series, there is nothing new in the series, the series is the same old, Outdated, Silly, and dead horror drama with no thrill in it. There is nothing special in the series and better to avoid it. If you are a fan of Kajal Aggarwal and still want to watch the series, Go and watch it on Hotstar, there are a total of 7 episodes in the series and all are approx 30 Minutes in length.
