Laxmi Movie Review Laxmii Laxmmi Bomb Review: when kalank was on the cards by looking at the star cast, I was damm excited for the movie, now the Laxmmi Bomb starring Akshay Kumar, Kirara Advani and Sharad Kelkar is now released on the Hotstar, here in the post we are going to review the movie.
The movie is approx 2 hours and 20 minutes long and stars Akshay Kumar, Sharad Kirkar, Kiara Advani, Aisha Raza, and Ashwini Kalsekar, the movie is directed by Raghav Lawrence and produced by Sabeena Khan, Tushar Kapoor, and others.
The plot of the movie is about a revenge story just like other horror movies, the plot and the climax is loosely based on the south Indian movie Kanchana, Asif and Priya are couples and they come to live with their parents, here Asif does some awkward activities and behaves like a transgender, what was the reason behind this and why these things were happening, to know this you have to watch the full movie on Hotstar.
Coming to the performances, Sharad Kelkar is just amazing and he is best of all, Akshay Kumar is good is the second half, rest of everyone from the movie is just below average, Aisha Reza and Ashwini Kelkar are just bizarre, their comedy irritates too much and you merely get any laughs on their silly jokes and bad coming timings, Akshay Kumar is best in the second half but the shard Kelkar is way better than everyone, Kiara Advani is decent and she looks pretty.
There is a scene in the movie where Akshay Kumar Slaps Ashwini Kalsekar and She sings ” Maar Daala…Maar Daala” seriously dude? these are the only comic dialogues you guys have?, there is another scene where Akshay Kumar says, “Live Life Queen Size” and he seats on the chair, there are many irritating dialogues like this that ruined the whole movie.
The locations are good and they look realistic, the music of the movie is up to the mark, I liked the Bhola Nath song, the way the song was filmed is just brilliant, the climax of the movie sucks in terms of VFX, there are some really bizarre killings that doesn’t impress me at all.
I am going with the 2 out of 5 stars for the movie, 1 star is for the shard Kelkar, Half is for Akshay’s performance in the second half and half is for the music, after these things there is nothing to watch in the film, if you had watched the Kanchana, avoid watching it completely, it would ruin your mood, still, if you are Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani Fan, You can check the movie on Hotstar.
There is no use of any strong languages or Skin shows, so you can watch the movie with family, avoid watching it with Kids below 10.
