Plot
The movie follows a toymaker in a city, where he has been there for years. Unfortunately with low sales in his shop, he has run out of money and eventually bought a loan from someone. Now he is given a deadline until Christmas to repay the loan or to present the invention for which he took the money.
The toymaker’s granddaughter respects her grandfather a lot and believes in him, she comes across one of his inventions, a robot named buddy who has magical powers. But a rival of her grandfather who deprived them of all the fame earlier sets his eyes upon the robot and captures it. Now she along with her friend is after the rescue of a buddy but the path which lies ahead is dangerous. Will they reunite?.

The movie stars Forest Whitaker and Madalen Mills in main lead roles, the movie also stars Keegan-Michael Lee, Hugh Bonneville, Anika Noni Rose, Phylicia Rashid, and Ricky Martin.
