Jack Ryan Season 3 Review: The popular Prime Video series, Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan, has returned with a new season after a three-year hiatus, which I believe is due to COVID-19. Now, this series is based on the fictional character Ryanverse, which was created by Tom Clancy, whereas this American series was created by Carlton Cuse and Graham Roland, and John Krasinski played the lead actor Jack Ryan.

In this article, I will discuss whether or not Season 3 is worth the wait.

Season 3 of Jack Ryan starts where season 2 left off, where we see that Jack is now promoted and working as a case officer for the CIA in Rome. In this season, we see John receive a tip that they are going to start the Sokol project, whose motive is to restore the Soviet Empire, which was shut down around 50 years ago.

When we see Jack, he establishes a mission to halt the project in order to save other countries from the effects of the nuclear Sokol project. In this season, we see how John is going to start this mission and stop this project.

This series now demonstrates his motivation and meets viewer expectations. This season didn’t feel like it had any gaps and kept its plot tight. This season has more action than the previous season; even the camera angle during shooting scenes looks perfectly synced, where we can’t feel like they take several cuts to shots in a scene, which is perfect about this series.

Other issues I have are the political angle, which feels like they stretched the scene with their long conversation, which bored something, but on the plus side, John Krasinski, who perfectly nailed the character of Jack Ryan, is in some scenes this season that makes you want to watch them again.

Finally, this season is ideal for fans of action-spy thrillers, and those who saw the previous season should watch it again, while those who didn’t should begin watching this season on New Year’s Eve. I’m going with 3.5/5 stars, and you must check it out.

Rating: 3.5/5

All eight episodes of each season of Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan are now available on Prime Video in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.
