Flight Movie Review: I was so excited about the film after the trailer release and finally the movie is now running in cinemas near you, I just finished the movie and here in the post I am going to review the film, I would talk about the Performances, Plot and few more details of the film.
The movie stars Mohit Chadda in the main lead role as Ranveer Malhotra, the movie also stars Zakir Hussain as Raman, Pawan Malhotra as Balraj, and Shibani Bedi as Rukshana in crucial roles, the movie is produced by Mohit Chadda himself and written by Baita Ashiwal and Mohit Chadda too, Sooraj Joshi is on the director chair. Let’s jump to the review.
Plot
The movie is an adventure suspense thriller that mainly revolves around Ranveer Malhotra, the movie starts with a Plane Accident where the Aircraft got crashed and the company of the Aircraft is owned by Ranveer Malhotra, To find out the reasons behind crash Ranveer decides to do a Meeting of Board Members and to attend that meeting he took his Private Charted Flight and here begins the story. He goes for a nap and when he wakes up everything was changed, the crew members were dead and Ranveer was only there on the flight. who was behind all this ? and will Ranveer able to save himself, the movie is all about that.
Performances
The slightly weak point from the film, the main lead Actor Mohit Chadda is good in his role and he looks amazing most of the times, while at some scenes he struggles to show the expression, his body language is a little confusing and this one is the only drawback in his performance. Zakir Hussain is good in his small role and he puts great impact in the film, Pawan Malhotra was also decent and Shibani looks amazing, she is so natural in the films and she is the biggest highlight in terms of acting.
Analysis
Sometimes as a critic, we have to keep everything aside and appreciate the good work in the cinema and this film is exactly the same, its a fresh concept and a well made film on small budget, the Vfx are just superb and the team behind the movie deserves lots of appreciation for this. The concept is so fresh and unique to Bollywood cinema that I just loved it, it takes a lot of courage to make offbeat cinema like this, and Kudos to Mohit Chadda for this amazing film.
There are some drawbacks too, the Plot is fresh but it is poorly executed, some scenes sound funny and it impacts the film very badly. How can you think of Playing Golf on A Plane when you are going to die in few minutes? it was the worst scene of the film. The editing was decent and again VFX and set design were amazing, The direction looks a little immature at few places although it doesn’t affect the film much.

Overall
I am going with 3 out of 5 stars for the film, The film is fresh, Unique and it deserver your time in the cinema halls, go and watch the film in the theatres near you. Keep some logic aside and you would just love this film. The movie is approx 2 hours long and there is no Skin Show in the film.
