Darbaan Review Zee5: There are high-budget movies with brilliant content Like Bahubali, War, and others and then there is a low-budget movie with brilliant content like Chaman Bahar and this Darbaan, the movie released today on Zee5 and here in the post we are going to review the movie.
We would talk about the plot, performances, and a few more points of the movie, the movie stars Sharad Kelkar, Sharib Hashmi, Rashika Duggal, and others, the movie is created by Award-winning filmmaker Bipin Nadkarni, now let’s jump to the full review of the movie.
The plot of the movie is about Raicharan who works as a servant in a big villa, he works there since childhood and due to that he connected to three generations, one bad day when he was taking care of his master’s son, the child goes missing in mysterious circumstances, and from there, his life got changed, he lost everything after that accident, the trust, the respect and the love that he had earned in the past years from Villa, some were saying that he had stolen that child as Raicharan doesn’t have any children, and some says the child died, what was the real story? and where was that child? is he really dead? or story is something else, to know this you have to watch the series.
The best things about the low budget movies are you get to see some mindblowing performances, and this movie is nothing different, the movie is all about Sharib Hashmi, he had just nailed it, his character goes through three generations and in each frame is mindblowing, I liked the age transformation that his character goes through, other actors like Sharad Kelkar and Rashika Duggal are in short yet crucial roles, Rashika shines here too and same is with the Sharad Kelkar, they both have hardly 3-4 dialogue in the film and they are just brilliant with it.
Screenplay & Others
I wasn’t expecting a good screenplay from the movie as the trailer was simple and it shows the whole story of the movie, but I was wrong, the screen is very good and it keeps you connected to the series, there are some shocking sequences, which would shock you in middle, the editing was also good and the movie is short and to the point, still there are few scenes in the middle which you need to skip. The locations are amazing and they are the core of the movie, the music is decent too.
We are going with the 3 out of 5 stars for the movie, the movie is an emotional drama that you can watch with family, Sharib Hashmi is one of the main reasons to watch the movie and if you are looking for some clean and good family drama to watch with family, you can have a look at the movie.
The movie is approx 90 minutes long and streaming on Zee5 for the premium users in Hindi audio along with the English subtitles.
