Cuties Movie Netflix: Cuties is a French drama with a coming of age storyline. The movie is directed by the debutant Maïmouna Doucouré. The movie earlier premiered on the Sundance Festival where is garnered positive and Warm reviews and Maïmouna Doucouré also won the best director award for the film. The movie is coming to Netflix in September 2020.
Plot
The movie follows an eleven-year-old girl Amy who is a Senegalese Muslim girl hailing from Senegal. She lives with her mother and two younger brothers in one of the poorest neighborhoods in France. The family is waiting for her father to arrive from Senegal and is living their life. She is a conservative girl as she has been taught since her childhood with her being a Muslim she notices her neighbor Angelica’s twerking break. Amy realizes that Angelica has a band named Cuties in her school and Amy also decides to join them as she loves to dance and is fascinated by the group. But she is torn between her culture and her desire.

The movie stars Fathia Youssouf, Médina El Aidi-Azouni, Esther Gohourou, Ilanah Cami-Goursolas and Maïmouna Gueye and others.

Netflix has released an official trailer for the movie which is also available on YouTube. The trailer has been receiving backlash and has made its way into several controversies in the world. The movie is set for a release Netflix on 9th, September 2020. The movie is expected to release in French and English audio along with the subtitles, there is no official information about the Hindi dubbed version of the movie.
