The king of comedy and feel-good films, Adam Sandler is back with another film that is different from the genre he has mostly worked with, but seeing his recent works like “Uncut Gems”, there’s more to Adam Sandler than meets the eye.
His new film, called “Hustle” released on the streaming giant Netflix is Sports Drama about a basketball scout who works for the Philadelphia 76ers and is down on his luck who discovers an extraordinary player abroad and he brings the phenom back without his team’s approval.
The film is produced by Adam Sandler’s own production house called Happy Madison Productions and co-produced by the basketball superstar LeBron James. The film that was released on Netflix last weekend scored a solid IMDB rating of 7.4 and 92% on Rotten Tomatoes. The film is a love letter for all the basketball fans because it has the cameo of more than 20 NBA players, current and former some having short and some big roles.
The film was not based on a true story it is a fictional story created by the makers. It has been observed that the presence of Adam Sandler in a movie can make it seem more lively, and that has been the case for his recent Netflix collaborations like The Do-Over, and Hubie Halloween which did not do well but Adam Sandler is Adam Sandler, with his humor and comic timing, the films are watchable.
Now, with Hustle, he’s brought his A-Game in terms of acting and humor and the fans are eating it up.
