Suriya is not only a well-known name in Kollywood, but he also enjoys a massive fan following from Telugu states too. Recently in the pre-release event of his upcoming bilingual movie ET Suriya spoke about Tollywood and his friends and how Chiranjeevi inspired him to start an NGO.
He recalled that Megastar Chiranjeevi is his inspiration behind starting an NGO. He praised Megastar for being his strength and also inspiration. Rana Daggubati too attended the event. Rana spoke about an incident when Suriya watched a few scenes of Rana’s film and lectured him in the car about how he needs to improve(laughs). Rana said since then he has seen consistent improvement in his performance.
Suriya said that Tollywood will always be special for him. He appreciated Tollywood for being the backbone in reviving the movie industry. He praised Akhanda, Pushpa, and Bheemla Nayak being the front runners in bringing back the audience to theatres.

On working with Suriya, ace director Boyapati Srinu said that he is a huge fan of Suriya. He said that Tollywood encourages all kinds of stories and good content irrespective of language and industry. He said that he would love to work with Suriya one day if he has the perfect script and time permits. After delivering an industry hit Akhanda it would be interesting to see this new combo.
Meanwhile, Suriya is all set for his film release and is busy with promotions. ET also stars Priyanka Mohan in the lead role. The film will hit the screens on 10 March. We wish Suriya and the entire team a blockbuster.
