Only Murders In The Building Season 2 Episode 3 Ending Explained: Hulu’s Original Crime Drama based titled “Only Murders In The Building” dropped another episode on Wednesday titled “The Last Day Of Bunny Folger” that focussed on recreating the last day of Bunny Folger, the Board President for the building called The Arconia, and how she’d have gotten murdered that day.
What Do We Know About The Story So Far?
The Episode shined some light on Bunny’s last day which was also supposed to be her last day as the Board President of The Arconia as she had decided last year that she is going to step down, making pregnant Nina Lin the president. The Episode started in the morning to how she met each of the lead characters i.e., Mabel, Charles, and Oliver on that day.
The episode showed a side of Bunny that we had not seen until now, a woman with a tangible heart and lovely nature for people who didn’t just hear her words but also understood the woman. We’re shown that she goes to a bagel stand where she’s welcomed and then to a restaurant where she’s welcomed by the waiter who she ends up giving an envelope of cash just so that waiter can get the DJ equipment he’s been wanting to buy.
We’re shown how Bunny who all her life only cared for The Arconia, when its time to leave she doesn’t have anything else to do, anything she loves. In the lift coming back to The Arconia, she meets Charles and Mabel who are preparing for their party for solving the Tim Kono case and she realizes that she does not want to step down and there starts a clash between Nina Lin who was going to be the future board president. Words exchange in which Nina comes off as too harsh and hurts Bunny.
We’re seen Bunny, who now is vulnerable reaching out to Mabel, Charles, and Oliver who are celebrating, and starts to cry on the door after the trio just gives her a hoodie and shuts the door on her face. The three of them realize that Bunny’s crying in front of the door but hesitate to open it and when they do, Bunny is not there. The next time they hear about Bunny is when she’s dead.
The New Prime Suspect
For the murder of Bunny Folger, Nina Lin is the new prime suspect because she was the last person Bunny had a very heated argument for. Nina Lin is a pregnant woman who wants to change how The Arconia works she wants to monetize the building and is very power-hungry.
Ending Of The Episode
The Ending showed how Bunny got murdered with a knife and a knitting needle but we see the killer vaguely because we’re shown shadows of the killer who wears glasses. Now, from the looks of it, there’s not a lot of people in the show who wear glasses so we can drill down to that. This is only speculation because it can be someone else entirely too, from outside the building.
