The episode starts with a girl sleeping, and suddenly she wakes up, seeing her phone vibrating and receiving a notification, “Night Has Come.” She was scared after seeing a girl lying on her bed, so she started running. Again, she sees someone in the water after leaving her room. She was scared, going here and there. Suddenly, she realizes she was listening to a podcast while sitting in her school bus.
There was a guy on the bus she was staring at since the start. Another girl was doing game development coding on the bus, and the graphics looked amazing in the sequence. Students start coming out of the bus as they reach their destination. Her name is Lee Yoon Seo, and she likes Daa Hee. When they reach the youth centre, there is no network on their mobile phones. Lee Yoon Seo is sitting all alone and staring at the guy she likes, who is dancing with another girl. Even their wifi wasn’t working at that place.
Suddenly, the lights go off, and everyone gets scared, but some students were playing a game. There was a guy in the youth centre who was scaring everyone by saying not to look in the mirror at midnight.

Lee Seo’s friend wants to start her coding lecture, but due to no network access, she won’t be able to attend it. Lee Seo’s phone automatically starts functioning, and the menu displayed is scary. It’s a mafia game that says when everyone sleeps, the game will start.
Everyone starts receiving notifications of the game, and the game begins. Every participant has to vote for someone. Since the internet wasn’t working, can they play the game? They go into the lab to call someone, but the landline phone is also not working.
The lights start getting dim automatically, and senior students bully juniors in a basketball match. Yoon Seo goes inside the room, and they start singing the happy birthday song for her because it’s her birthday. They wanted to celebrate it with a cake, but she got scared when the other students pushed her into the pool. Someone dragged her inside the pool, and she fainted. But she was saved with the help of another student, Seung Won, who was the class president.

The game continues and is about to end when suddenly the student who pranks everyone shows signs of something wrong happening with him. After voting, he starts smashing his own head on the floor, looking like he was possessed, and he jumps from the window. Everyone gets scared and faints. The first episode ends, with something related to that mobile game.
