Episode 9 starts with Jackie going to a Silver Falls event. She wanted to talk to Alex and sort things out, but Alex wasn’t ready to talk to her.
Jackie goes to Alex’s room and tries to explain to him what happened at the awards dinner. Jackie was still angry with Cole. Hayley goes to Will, and Will was watching a film. Hayley wants to talk to him about the apartment’s lease. Jackie receives an internship letter from a Princeton alumni, and Alex was glad to hear this from Jackie. Erin was still angry with Olivia. Someone tried to explain to her about girl code.
Will tries to explain to Hayley that she matters the most to him, and they both want to communicate to sort out their relationship issues. Hayley said she wants to marry Will. Hayley was happy with a normal court marriage too, and they both started planning their marriage.
On the other side, George received a letter where he has to pay a lot of money, but he was going through financial difficulties.
Danny receives an acceptance letter for which he was waiting for a long time, and Jackie was getting ready for his interview. Alex participated in a horse competition, but the rein broke in the middle, and Alex blames Cole for this. After that, they both start arguing again about Paige and Jackie, but they sort things out and apologize to each other.
Jackie gets confused in the middle of the interview when she comes to know that the interviewer knows her dad.
Jacob and Hayley meet each other, and Jacob was very sad. Hayley shared her marriage news with him. Cole goes to pick up Jackie from the interview location. On the other side, Alex gets a scholarship for his horse riding talent.
In the middle of the road, the car wasn’t moving properly, and it stopped. Cole didn’t even have a toolbox in the car. At the fair, Olivia tried to sort things out with Erin, but Erin wasn’t ready to forgive her. She said sorry to Erin, and Erin accepted Olivia’s apology. Alex was still waiting for Jackie, but Jackie hadn’t arrived yet. Still, the car wasn’t repaired, and there was no one on the road to help them.
Katherine and George were refreshing their memories, and George got ready to sell off his land. Alex apologized to Paige also. Jackie told Cole about her interview. Cole confessed in front of Jackie that he likes her. Will and Alex go to pick them up from that unknown place, and Will shared the good news of marriage. And the episode 9 ends.
