Episode one begins with a party where the character of Jackie is introduced. At that party, she meets her uncle, Uncle Richard, and the episode title appears, “Welcome to Colorado.”
The episode shows the past of Jackie, where she was talking to Uncle Richard on a video call. Katherine and George arrive at the airport to pick up Jackie. After listening to some news, Jackie gets sad.
Jackie arrives at her destination; she meets Danny, Alex, and Isaac at Katherine’s place. Katherine was leaving due to some emergency, but at the same time, Will arrives home, and Will is the elder son of the family. After that, she gets introduced to Parker and Benny. At the same moment, she meets a hot guy, Cole.
Jackie asks Will how many kids belong to Katherine and George. Will replied, “We’re a total of 8 siblings.” Will helps Jackie to find her room. She gets into her room, and Cole also comes to the room. Katherine comes back home and meets Jackie. Katherine and Jackie’s mom were good childhood friends, but they were talking about an accident, and her mom is no more because of that accident. Katherine says Jackie exactly looks like her mom.
Jackie gets her new attire to go to school. Jackie finds Cole very irritating because he was showing attitude all the time. Jackie goes into her class; she finds her new school big.
Jackie introduces herself to the whole class. Jackie wants to go to Princeton to do something big in her life. The news she was listening to in the morning was about her family; her family died six months ago.
Cole leaves the school with her brothers. Jackie was left behind, so her new friends give her a lift. Cole takes Jackie with her and shows them his garden and his horse. Jackie tells about her past life to Cole. They have a horse stable at their home. Cole’s girlfriend Erin comes to visit him at his house, but Cole says she’s busy. George’s bank balance was running in the negative; approximately 1.3k$ was pending.

Cole leaves a parcel at Jackie’s door, and episode 1 ends.
