Ashley Nicolette Frangipane, popularly known by her stage name Halsey, is an American songwriter and singer. She first started singing as a hobby, releasing her videos on social media. Soon after seeing her talent in 2014, she got signed by Astralwerks, and later released her debut album in the same year, named Room 93.

She has released many popular songs, some of her most famous being “Hopeless Fountain Kingdom” (2017), “Now or Never,” and “Bad at Love.” In 2018, she moved to Capitol Records. Her third studio album, Manic, became the bestseller of the year in 2020. She has won many awards, including the Billboard Women in Music Award, MTV Video Music Award, and has also been nominated for three Grammy Awards.

Halsey and Suga are best friends, and she is a big fan of BTS and Suga. In 2019, she became the first American artist to collaborate with BTS, featuring in their song “Boy With Luv.” She is also known as Suga’s twin because she loves performing as a solo artist, and her lyrics quite resemble Suga’s.
