MBC Drama “From Now On, Showtime” ended its 16 Episode run this past weekend leaving fans mesmerized by the ending. The drama focused on Fantasy, Comedy, Mystery, and Romance and fans have hailed it as an underdog which has become a favorite for being a fluffy and relaxing watch.
It tells the story of a wizard who can see and summon spirits at will and that wizard starts working with an investigator what follows is amazing chemistry between those two learning about love and the meaning of trust. Drama overall is a feel-good romantic comedy which is the perfect genre to go for during moments of sadness.
The drama had an amazing cast of Park Hae-jin (Doctor Stranger, My Love From Another Star) who played the leading role of the magician, and Jin Ki-Joo (Come And Hug Me, Misty & Little Forest). The drama scored a rating of 8.4 on MDL which is quite good for a drama that had the weekend slot (Saturday, Sunday).
Park Hae Jin has last seen in Genesis (2021) Drama that ran for 6 Episodes and garnered good reviews from the audience and critics for his acting and the screenplay. Jin Ki-Joo will be next seen in a drama titled “I Met You By Chance” with Kim Dong Wook that is rumored to air in August 2022.
Now coming to the update about the season 2, the Season 2 of the show is not confirmed yet, chances are very high that the show will be renewed for the season 2, if the show comes for the season 2, it is expected to release on the OTT platforms by July-August 2023, we will update the post soon with a confirmed release date.
