The Lord Of The Rings: The Rings Of Power prequel from AMAZON Prime has become the most expensive series of all time with a budget of more than 1 Billion Dollars for five seasons. With the Lord Of The Rings still staying as one of the most beloved fantasy series novels of all time, this series is created by Amazon Prime and is not at all welcomed by them.
The series has gotten so many dislikes (1.7 Million Dislikes When I Checked), that YouTube had to remove the dislike button, Usually, the dislike button is for small creators, and Amazon doing this does not look good on them.
This poses a question if the teaser itself is being disliked so much, what will be of the series itself when it airs? This comes after the series was cast and it was said to be diverse including people with different ethnicities which did not sit well with the fans.
One theory says that if the series is a prequel to the films, and the films didn’t have any ethnical groups, what happened to them in the series? If the films or the books don’t have them, why does Amazon feel the need to include them? Just to get inclusivity points and act “woke”? With so much budget, the real question arises will the series stand up to the viewers or not?
