Record Of Ragnarok premiered last year on Netflix based on the Manga of the same name, Season 2 of the anime series has been announced that it will debut in 2023. More information about the series will be released by the staff at Anime Expo in July.
The series has a very interesting premise as it involves the gods going crazy or losing their patience over humans making the earth a joke with their constant killings and not nurturing nature.
So the gods decide to destroy the earth and end civilization and during this, a Valkyrie comes up with a crazy solution to decide if the humans can live or not, by choosing the strongest 13 humans, they combat the gods on a one-on-one duel and whoever wins the most duels, that side wins. If the humans win, they get to live for another 1000 years and if the gods win, the earth destroys. And then starts the whole story.
With its unique premise, the manga is very popular making the anime as well but the anime met with some criticism after announcing the second season of the anime, it looks like everything is going okay. Fans had not liked season 1 of the series as they thought of the series as “A Powerpoint Animation”.
