This series is a true political story based on the lifestyle of two political operatives, Howard Hunt and G. Gordon Liddy, They both were working under President Richard Nixon as White House Plumbers who were appointed to Prevent leakages of crucial talks.
But instead of helping him, they accidentally turned on him instead of protecting him. In the series, the character of Dorothy Hunt is played by Game of Thrones actress, Lena Headey.

Dorothy Hunt was the first wife of Howard Hunt. She was born in Ohio and was a former CIA employee where she met Howard. In 1972, on July 3rd, Howard and his team were arrested for tapping an electronic device and for the burglary in the Watergate office. Dorothy tried to talk to their attorney but nothing worked.
In the same year, when she boarded a plane, US Flight 553 crashed, and Dorothy died. The FBI found $10,000 in her bag. According to some sources, this incident might be linked to the Watergate Conspiracy incident.
After this accident took place, Howard pleaded guilty and served 33 months in jail for wiretapping and burglary.
