The Super Mario Bros. has been released in the theatres near us and it has been getting all the love worldwide for its unique but nostalgic take on the beloved video game backed by amazing voice actors such as Chris Pratt, Charlie Day, and Anya-Taylor Joy.
With the film being just above 90 minutes, it’s not enough time to cover the whole game altogether so we are fully sure that this is not just going to be a one-part movie that gets us interested in whether there was an easter egg for the next film. Yep, there were two POST-Credit scenes in the film.
The Super Mario Bros. Movie POST Credit Scene?
The first POST-Credit scene comes after the end and major credit rolls where Bowser is still trapped inside a jar and has a piano where he’s singing the song “Peaches” where is just a masterpiece (You’ll know once you hear it) until Toad comes where and turns off the lights on him and Bowser just rants on him.
The second POST-Credit scene takes us to the same underground tunnels from where Mario and Luigi got transported to the Mushroom Kingdom. We see a green egg that starts to hatch but we do not see anyone coming out of it but just a word and that should be enough to guess who is it.
Its YOSHI! So, what this means is the famous Mario sidekick is also introduced in the film and when the sequel comes in the future, he’s going to be there with Mario. Wouldn’t that be fun?
