Call Of The Night is a name that has been quite familiar in the anime community, especially in recent times. Why not, after all, it’s a high-rated Manga that rated 8th on the “Nationwide Bookstore Employees” Recommended Comics of 2021 and after the announcement of the Anime Series, the hype has increased for this Manga to be adapted. The Manga had 11 volumes starting in 2019 and it ended in June 2022.
Illustrated by Kotoyama who also illustrated Dagashi Kashi, the Manga series was nominated for the 6th Manga Awards. The story is based on a high school boy who stops going to school because he feels restless and nocturnal, can’t sleep and on top of it, he can’t find true satisfaction in his life. Unable to sleep at night, he starts to take late-night walks, and there he meets a girl who is a vampire.
The girl shows him the joys of being a vampire and a nightwalker and in those adventures, our Male Lead finds the joy that he was looking for. So, now he wants to be a vampire but can’t be unless he falls in love with the vampire girl.
Hence, he starts a quest to fall in love with the vampire. The anime series is being penned by LeidenFilms and the series is scheduled to start on July 7th, 2022
