Thursday’s Widows Episode 4 (Las viudas de los jueves ): Episode 4 of the show focuses on Martin and Lala Li’s family. It begins with Martin’s office party. The party was originally founded by Martin’s grandfather, but his father’s actions tarnished its reputation, leading to a lack of respect for Martin within the party. Martin decides to resign from the party and run for elections independently.
He assembles a new team and starts preparing for the election campaign. Soon, his family faces financial difficulties, and Lala begins to dismiss servants and maids from their home. Despite these actions, financial issues persist, and eventually, Martin’s entire campaign team quits, leaving him all alone.

The financial situation worsens, forcing them to sell furniture and their children’s toys. Martin can’t bear to see this happening, and when he shares his troubles with Tano, Tano offers him an idea.
The story once again jumps to December 26, where we see Martin, Tano, and Maldonado planning to end their lives. They offer Ronnie the same choice, but he rejects it. After this, the episode ends.
Episode 4 is the best episode so far for me. It shows how a family can be ruined for the sake of a fake reputation. Lala is portrayed as a very supportive character, unlike other housewives in the society.
There are two more episodes left in the show, and it will be interesting to see what they have in store for us.
