AppleTV+ has been pretty on the point with the content they’re releasing. Producing diverse content with big budgets, it has been one of the top streaming services after its recent debut in the streaming platform race.
This week, we have another show by AppleTV+ titled “Surface”, a psychological thriller mini-series that tells the story of a woman who wants to rebuild her life after a suicide attempt that leaves her with a head injury and memory loss and in that quest to get back up again, she’s trying to understand what happened that led her to do something like that in the first place but at the same time she’s starting to doubt people around her.
The show stars Gugu Mbatha-Raw who is well known for her roles in Loki (2021) & Beyond The Lights (2014) with Oliver Jackson-Cohen known for The Invisible Man, The Haunting Of The Hill House, Ari Graynor from The Sitter and Bad Teacher, and other talents. The series has been created by Veronica West.
The Mini-Series is set to have an 8 Episodic run and will end after that. The Episodes will be released weekly with the first 3 dropping on the first week and the rest weekly after that. The series has started its run on AppleTV+ now and for psychological thriller fans, this sounds like a perfect treat.
