Wingwomen (Voleuses) Review: “Voleuses,” also titled as “Wingwomen,” is now streaming on Netflix. The film is an action thriller released directly on Netflix with multiple audio versions. The film is around 2 hours long and is suitable to watch with family and kids. I just finished watching the film, and here is the detailed review.

The story of the film mainly revolves around Carole and Alex, who work for a woman named ‘Godmother.’ Carole wants to leave all the work and doesn’t want to work for ‘Godmother’ because she is pregnant. ‘Godmother’ asks her to do a last task, and after that, she can go free. What will happen in the task, and will she be able to complete it? To find out, you need to watch the full movie on Netflix.

Coming to the performances, Carole and Alex share great chemistry between them and look very good together. Mélanie Laurent, playing as Carole, looks mature and confident, and she has played her role beautifully. On the other hand, Alex’s character was loud and cheerful, and Adèle Exarchopoulos, playing as Alex, has done a fabulous job. Manon Bresch as Sam was also great in the film and added extra charm to the film. The rest of the characters, like Isabelle Adjani as Marraine and Félix Moati as Clarance, were equally good.

The biggest issue with the film is the story. The film promotes sisterhood and women’s empowerment, but the story was not up to the mark and falls short. The story pretty much resembles a routine plot, and it fails to offer thrills or emotional connection. There is an emotional sequence in the climax of the film, but it fails to connect with me. The action sequences were also good, but I was expecting more. The location and the background music look decent, and the film performs well in that part.

I am giving the film 2.5 out of 5 stars. The film is a light-action thriller that you can watch with family and kids. There isn’t much to the story, but you will enjoy the sisterhood bonding between the three main leads. The film is now available on Netflix in multiple audio options, and you may give it a try.
