This political drama says the story of Howard Hunt & G . Gordon who were working under President Nixon as plumbers, but accidentally their plan went wrong and it turns down Nixon’s presidency.
In the series, Virgilio Gonzalez is played by Nelson Ascencio. A group of Cuban Americans who were veterans of the 1961 Bay of Pigs invasion were working under Hunt & Liddy. Five Cuban Americans were unable to make the invasion successful. From the “White House Plumbers” series, the five Cuban Americans are Rolando “Musculito” Martinez, Bernard “Macho” Barker, Frank Sturgis, and James W. McCord Jr. In this incident, Virgilio Gonzalez worked as a locksmith.
Virgilio Gonzalez was born on May 18, 1926, in Cuba where he worked as a barber and house painter. He became a political activist and worked as a locksmith and was involved in the Watergate incident. After the burglary, he lived with his wife in Miami and worked in a mechanical shop. On June 16, 2014, at the age of 88, he died in Miami.
