Review
The Film starts with a warning from the director that this film is not for the weak hearted and Pregnant Women or people suffering from heart diseases should refrain from watching it, well that stands very correct for this film. Vash, as the same suggests in the local Gujarati/Hindi lore, the name itself is enough to make you believe that this is going to be something different and the poster, with Janki in it confirms that doubt. The film is definitely for the faint of heart.
That being said, the film is about 2 hours long and it doesn’t waste any time in giving us the real treat. The film starts off with a story-building so we connect with the characters, especially Arya’s and how it moves forward with everything, well it takes that up a notch by like 1000 times.
The Psychological Element has been brilliantly used in the film and it keeps you guessing constantly, The writing is phenomenal and the cinematography along with the screenplay keeps you glued to the screen. The film doesn’t contain any songs so what you’re in, is a full 2-hour treat given you’re not a faint of heart.
Ending Explained: Ditto (2022) Summary & Ending Explained
Being a HUGE Psychological Horror Fanatic myself, this was an absolute treat to watch. The acting is superb and spot on. Janki Bodiwala has done a fantastic job along with Hitu Kanodia and Hiten Kumar. While the last two do not need any introduction as they are Dhollywood’s Superstars, but their arrival into the mainstream Gujarati Movies has been serving them well and us, with such brilliant performances.
Final Verdict: 4.5/5
“Vash Keeps You Guessing and has all the right elements to make it absolutely worth watching. I repeat again, it is not for the faint of heart.”
