After the events of Endgame, MARVEL Universe looks like it’s moved on with little specks of the bones remaining where there’s just a mention of it called “The Blip”. Only some of the original Avengers remain now, that we had gotten used to seeing on the Silver Screen and cheered for, and one of them is our beloved who’s ready to crack down from the skies during the rainy season like thunder never seen before.
I am talking about none other than Son of Odin, God of Thunder Mighty Thor who will be soon seen in Thor: Love And Thunder with Natalie Portman, Tessa Thompson and our lovely Guardians Of The Galaxy except Gamora. Directed by Taika Waititi, who also directed Thor: Ragnarok which is considered the best Thor film of the trilogy because of its peppy and crazy screenplay.
Thor: Love And Thunder tell the story of Thor after the events of the Infinity saga who after seeing a lot of drama over the years, seeks inner peace and we can see that in the trailer as well. We see Natalie Portman reprising her role as Jane Foster who is also wielding Mjolnir. These two or the director are not men of the hour, it’s the antagonist of the film who’s the star of the show and that is Christian Bale playing Gor The God Butcher who kills gods as the name suggests.
The runtime of the film is 2 hours and it’s going to be released on 8th July 2022, in India a day earlier. There are no official reports if Thor has been written of the MARVEL Universe in the upcoming sequels or if he’s going to get killed by Gor or get sacrificed for the great good like in Endgame.
So there’s no rush to that since Taika Waititi seems to enjoy his time directing the Thor films and giving us every crazy screenplay and cinematography. Not to forget the brilliant actors who are playing the antagonists, in Ragnarok it was Cate Blanchett and in Love And Thunder, it’s Christian Bale. From what we know, Thor is going to stay or the theatres will be a river of tears because it’s going to be hard to say goodbye to Thor.
Below are the notable MARVEL Universe films that you will see in the upcoming time
