The Woman in the Window Movie Netflix: Netflix original film The Women On The Window is now released on the platform, the movie is a suspense thriller. I just finished the movie and here I am going to review the film, I would talk about the Positive and Negative aspects of the film and many other highlights of the film.
The movie stars Amy Adams as Dr. Foz in the main lead role along with Julianne Moore as Janne, Garry Oldman as Russell, and Anthony Mackie in the Short role as Ed Fox. The movie is directed by Joe Wright and Produced by Fox Studios Pictures. The movie is now available on Netflix in Hindi and English audio along with subtitles. The movie is family-friendly and approx 100 minutes long.
Plot
The plot of the film revolves around Dr. Fox who lives alone in the house and facing some mental illness, In all these, a new family of Russell comes to live in the house in front of Dr. Fox’s house. One day while Looking outside from her Window Dr. Fox noticed some violence in the house of Russell, she complains to the police but when the police arrive there they get nothing and Russell also denied any kind of Violence. What was the truth behind this? is it beginning of something bad? to know this you have to watch the full movie on Netflix.
Performances
Amy Adams is the only crucial character in the film and she has done a decent job, she looks amazing during the emotional frames while she struggles during the thrilling moments, her expressions were flawless but her body languages lack confidence sometimes, Rest of the other actors were decent with their performance and they have very little screen time.
Analysis
The story of the movie is very basic and predictable sometimes, the movie is only 90 minutes long but still, it feels long and dull, the first 30-35 minutes of the film was very boring and dull and here movie lost the charm, the movie tries to get the momentum after it’s half way but fails to deliver up to the expectations. The music of the film is amazing and it creates a great atmosphere in the film, The editing is very poor and the locations were good, the screenplay of the film is very bad and this was one of the biggest drawbacks of the film.

Overall
I am going with 2.2 out of 5 stars for the film, the movie is nothing much to offer if we compare it from Hollywood level, but it is still better than other releases like Radhe and The Last Hour. You can watch the film with family on Netflix.
