The Menu (2022) Movie Review: The Menu is an American thriller drama film directed by Mark Mylod and stars Ralph Fiennes, Anya Taylor-Joy, and Nicholas Hoult, The film was finally released on the Hotstar a few days back here we are going to tell you about the reviews and some more details about the film.
The Menu film follows a group of Elite guests who go to an isolated and private island to eat at Hawthorne, an elite restaurant created by Chef Slowik, but things start to change after a simple dinner turns out to be a dangerous dinner.
The cinematography of this film is very good and captures every detail of the movie. Cinematography is given by Peter Deming who has Cinematography for the films like “Evil Dead 2” and “Scream” Franchise movies and Fox’s The New Mutant and more.
The cinematography is exhaled by the music, Colin Stetson gave the music for this film and i never heard his music before, He recently gave music for Texas Chainsaw Man 2022 and Rockstar’s hit game Red Dead Redemption 2 and I didn’t hear his music, but in this movie, it’s really really good, Music gave some tense while watching this movie, whenever music starts you feel like what’s going to happen?.
Killing Performance of Ralph Fiennes in the role of Julian Slowik, Anya Taylor-Joy is the main character, but Ralph Fiennes overshadowed her in this movie.
Anya Taylor-Joy’s character is poorly written, Anya Taylor-Joy is totally wasted in this movie. Dialogues are a bit hard to understand. It’s like they’re just not saying any things in simple words, Writers didn’t write any dialogues in a straightforward way.
The Menu is not for the masses if you like watching movies of A24 then this movie is for you, You will love watching this movie from start to end, Even some A24 Movies made us bored, but The Menu is different from start to end, With a stellar performance from Ralph Fiennes and suspenseful music by Colin Stetson and beautifully filmed by Peter Deming and Great Direction from Mark Mylod made this movie one of the best and watchable movies of 2022- 2023.
