The cast of the film includes Prabhas, Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Tinu Anand, Easwari Roy, and Bobby Simha. The film is a mix of suspense, action, emotions, and great performances.

The film has already grossed Rs. 625 Cr globally, even after witnessing a decline in its daily box office collection in recent days. It came into the market with a total budget of 270 Cr INR, and the details of the 2nd part are still awaited to be released. By crossing this mark, Prabhas becomes the only star in the South Indian film industry to have three movies that made their way into the Rs. 600 Cr club globally.

Currently, the film is ranked as the 4th highest-grossing film in Tollywood after his other two films, i.e., Baahubali: The Beginning (Rs. 648 Cr) and its sequel Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (Rs. 1811 Cr), followed by RRR (Rs. 1387 Cr).

On the opening day, Salaar collected 178.7 Cr INR, which had a slow decline as the days were passing, followed by 101.39 Cr INR on day 2 and further earning below Rs. 100 Cr on a daily basis.
