Run & Gun (The Ray) Review: Run and Gun is a 2021 movie recently released on Netflix, and I started it with high hopes but it really shocked me, I just finished the film, and here goes the review of the film, I am going to tell you about the Good and bad of the film.
The film stars Mark Dacascos, Janel Parrish, Alison Thornton, and Ari Barkan in the main lead roles, The film also stars Celestino Cornielle, Ben Milliken, Richard Kind, Brad William Henke, Hudson Yang, and more.
The story follows Ray, a Criminal who has a dangerous past but wants to start a new life but his past doesn’t leave him.
The movie really starts at a good point but they can’t keep the promise they gave at the start. The movie is really short, Movie runtime is 1.38 hr and it’s good for films like this, The Plot of the movie is really good, where we saw Ray, Who wants to leave his past and can do anything for it and then we saw Billings who also wants to leave his past and wants to start a new life and he can do anything for it as he does with Ray. The acting is really good and the jokes are well written.
Review: Butterfly Movie Review: Anupama Shines In Dull Thriller
The biggest issue with the film is its Screen Play and writing, The movie runtime is 1.38 hr but you will lose patience after 40 minutes. If you start watching the film, you will be like, ‘this is going to be a hell of an action film’, but trust me that is the only action scene you will like.
Makers Really gave you high hope in the start, Aside from Bad Writing The movie also has bad editing, There are a lot of scenes where you can see the editor’s laziness, and There are a lot of Illogical scenes where you have to guess what actually happened. I didn’t watch the trailer before watching the movie, if you watched the trailer then there is no need to watch the film.
I am going with 1.5 Out of 5 stars for the film, Run & Gun aka The Ray is A movie that had the potential to become the best action-thriller but becomes a boring action thriller that no one is going to remember.
Rating: 1.5/5
