Episode 11 ends where Lord Seimei takes the body of Lord Hiromasa and gets away. We’ve explained all the previous episodes. Now it’s time for Episode 12. Episode 12 starts with some people chanting and clapping near the fire. The court started celebrating the festival. Kainie says Lord Seimei stole the corpse of Lord Hiromasa, and suddenly Lady Damon appears; she was reading the same magic spell which Seimei reads, and the intro appears.

Lady Doman and Lord Yasunori also started helping Lord Seimei. Seimei wanted to bring Lord Hiromasa back from death. Lord Seimei gets help from Lady Doman. Lady Doman said Lord Taizan will take something in equal. Seimei wanted to preside over the ceremony. Seimei will now offer something to Lord Taizan so that he can save Lord Hiromasa. Seimei started chanting.

Lord Kainie tried to attack Seimei, but he understood that only Seimei can save peace in the town. Lord Seimei started chanting for Lord Taizan. Suddenly, fog appears, and we can see that Lord Hiromasa is present there.

The demon who killed Hiromasa was present there in the forest. Everyone was shocked to see that Lord Hiromasa is alive. The demon also got shocked that Hiromasa is still alive. When the demon tried to attack Hiromasa, then he comes to know that it wasn’t Hiromasa; Seimei got help from Suzaku Gate Demon.

Lord Atsumi demon and Lord Seimei Abe start a fight at that place. Suddenly, everything goes dark, and the clouds turned black; something bad was about to happen. Many monsters come from the sky, and Seimei tried to get help from Doman.

Lord Atsumi and Lord Seimei were still fighting. Seimei started chanting again to kill Lord Atsumi, and Lady Doman comes to help Lord Seimei. Lord Seimei was fully prepared to call Lord Taizan. Yasonuri said he is going to summon Lord Taizan here, and magic happens. We can see that Lord Hiromasa got alive; he got one more life with the help of Lord Seimei. In compensation, Lord Seimei offered himself, and Seimei suddenly disappeared.

Lord Atsumi and Hiromasa were fighting; Lady Doman hinted that poison is there in his horns. And between the fight, Hiromasa says that he’ll bring back Seimei, and the Episode 12 ends.

The finale episode of Onmyoji is Episode 13. In the previous episode, we saw that Lord Seimei sacrificed himself to save Lord Hiromasa in front of Lord Taizan. Episode 13 starts with Lord Atsumi and Hiromasa talking with each other about flute tunes. Atsumi was remembering what happened in the past, and the intro appears. Hiromasa says to Atsumi, “I’ll save you from this demon. I’ll be the one who will free you.” On the other side, Lord Yasunori was making another plan. Hiromasa says to Atsumi, “I still consider you as a friend, Lord Atsumi, but the demon inside him was attacking Lord Hiromasa.”

On the other side, Lady Doman was having a fight with demons. Hiromasa always wanted to free Lord Atsumi from that demon. The demon bites Lord Hiromasa on his elbow, and Hiromasa was trying his best to get rid of that demon. Atsumi was remembering the past where Hiromasa learns playing flute from him.

By this, we come to know that Atsumi was jealous of Lord Hiromasa since the beginning. His jealousy turned into hate, which created a demon inside him. Lord Atsumi apologizes to Lord Hiromasa. Suddenly, Lord Seimei appears again, and Hiromasa was shocked to see Seimei alive. Lord Atsumi wanted to get exorcised by Lord Seimei, and Seimei agreed. Atsumi gives his flute to Hiromasa; at first, Hiromasa said no, but in respect, he takes the flute from him.

Lord Atsumi and Lord Hiromasa start playing the flute together for the last time. Lady Doman and Seimei were listening to tunes peacefully, and the view turns beautiful.While playing the flute, Atsumi transforms into a human again. He gets his humanity back, so Seimei didn’t exorcise him because there was no demon now.

How Seimei is still alive?

With the help of Lady Doman, Seimei created a Kodaku, which was a decoy (Sekisako version of Seimei), and that was the version that Lord Taizan took away. So with the help of Doman, Seimei is still alive.

In the end, Seimei said that Seimei Abe isn’t his real name. Lady Doman knows Seimei’s real name. And the Episode 13 ends on a cliffhanger where Michinaga takes a new case, indirectly hinting at another season.
