This show revolves around the lives of students who go on a field trip. However, all of them get involved in a mafia game, which turns into a life-or-death situation. This show is an edge-of-the-seat mystery thriller. You will enjoy every second of this show.

The mafia game is basically about finding out who the mafia is among them. No one has to reveal their identities. There is one police, one doctor, and two mafias in the game, and the rest are citizens. If they vote out the wrong person, he/she will be executed from the game, and that student is going to die because of this.

The Ending

Now, we’ll tell you what happened in the climax of the series.

We all thought all students were dying in the show, but no, it’s not true. At the end, we see Yoon Seo and Jun Hee only remain because Oh Jung committed suicide. But no one is dead in reality. When the students reach their destination, they were stuck in a game but mentally, not physically.

Park Eu was a student, and she was close to Yoon Seo. Because of that, Park’s parents didn’t do anything to Yoon Seo. Park’s parents created a game with the help of coding, and they developed that game with so much complexity. They were tied to a lab where all students were kept in a chamber, and wires were tied to their heads.

What happens in the game was happening to them with real suffering. Park’s mother was stubborn; she wanted everyone dead because she thinks Park committed suicide because of them only, and she was partly right too because Jim Da Bum created morphed photographs of Park due to that; she went into depression and she committed suicide.

At the end, we come to know that everything was a game. Park’s father forgave everyone, and they gave a chance to every student. They were going back home in a bus, but Oh Jung was still alive. She was a mystery character of this show, indirectly hinting at the next season.
